Position Descriptions
Take the opportunity to lead in one of these key roles:
President-Elect
- Participate in board of directors meetings/conference calls
- Participate in executive committee meetings/conference calls
- Serve as liaison to AAEM committees when asked by the president
- Serve as spokesperson to outside organizations when asked by the president
- Along with the President, appoint committee chairs and committee members
- Regularly review AAEM internal emails and respond as needed
- Aid in staff operational issues
Secretary-Treasurer
- Participate in board of directors meetings/conference calls
- Participate in executive committee meetings/conference calls
- Co-sign AAEM checks in a timely manner
- Work with staff to prepare budgets and treasurer’s reports
- Serve as liaison to AAEM committees when asked by the president
- Regularly review AAEM internal emails and respond as needed
- Aid staff in operational issues
At-Large Board Member (three positions available)
- Elected to serve a three year term
- Participate in board of directors meetings/conference calls
- Regularly review AAEM internal emails and respond as needed
- Serve as liaison to AAEM committees when asked by the president
- Call lapsed members to determine reasons for not renewing
