We are seeking 12 adults to be model patients during 5 hands-on ultrasound workshops at AAEM23! The ultrasound models allow these live courses to provide hands-on ultrasound skill training for physicians to learn the basics, understand scan proficiency, and cover focused medical scans of vascular, abdominal, echocardiography (heart), and musculoskeletal (leg/arm) areas.
Models will receive a stipend for their time during the workshops. Models are welcome (and encouraged) to sign up for multiple sessions. Sessions usually run from 40 minutes to up to 4 hours during conference. Personal protective equipment will be provided to models.
Who Should Apply?
This opportunity is a rewarding benefit for college or medical students interested in the medical field (future physicians, medical assistants, nurses, physical therapists, and/or other medical specialties) to learn about the human body, earn easy extra cash, and network with physicians from throughout the globe.
AAEM expects models to arrive on time and be prepared for the course (see instructions below). Models will receive a stipend at the end of the workshop. Completion of a W-9 is required to receive stipend.
