The American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) invites members of the press to attend its 31st Annual Scientific Assembly, taking place from April 6-10, 2025, in Miami, Florida. This event offers exclusive access to expert insights, networking opportunities, and tailored content on the latest trends in emergency medicine.

Registration Details

Eligibility: Open to journalists and media representatives with valid credentials. This includes reporters, editors, photographers, and videographers associated with established media organizations.

Registration Process: Interested press should complete the online registration form on the AAEM24 website. Approval and confirmation will be sent post verification.

Deadline: Registrations must be submitted by Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11:59 pm CT.

Press Credentials

Acceptable credentials include:

  • Official press ID
  • A letter of assignment from a media organization
  • Examples of recent work in emergency medicine

Freelance journalists must provide a letter of assignment and recent work samples.

Press Registration Policies
  • All media representatives must submit the AAEM25 press registration form along with their press credentials. Credentials are required on-site to receive a press badge.
  • Registration as press is exclusively for editorial staff. Representatives of advertising or marketing will not be registered as press.
  • AAEM staff will review each press registration form. Approval is at the discretion of AAEM management, and applicants will be informed of their status within one week.
  • Approved applicants will receive complimentary access to the event.
  • Submission of the press registration form does not guarantee a press pass. Press passes are reserved for those covering the event in a media capacity, as determined by AAEM.
  • Photography and videography are subject to AAEM’s approval and may require prior written permission.
  • Press seeking interviews or official statements from AAEM should coordinate with the AAEM communications team for arrangements.
