As the first line of defense against injury and illness, emergency medicine providers serve an extraordinary public safety function. Health care delivery models, reimbursement, and the technical care of medical and trauma patients is changing rapidly. Based upon participant evaluations, survey feedback, and other assessment methods, the need for cutting edge updates about emergency medicine has been identified.
