Who We Are
The goal of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Interest Group is to further the awareness of pediatric healthcare needs within the emergency department by joining together those who are interested in or practice pediatric emergency medicine within AAEM. This interest group will provide a space for collaboration and discussion about the unique health issues facing pediatric patients and pediatric providers.

Areas of Interest and Discussion
Areas of interest and discussion include but are not limited to the following:
- Discuss specific topics and issues relevant to pediatric emergency medicine.
- Advocate for the specific needs of the pediatric patient population within emergency medicine.
- Develop a group of pediatric emergency medicine experts for AAEM and the interest group to consult with and look to for guidance on educational projects and issues concerning pediatric emergency medicine.
